Murray McIntosh are currently searching for a Mechanical Development Engineer as detailed below:
The role will involve running engine validation tests (functional and endurance tests), reporting and engaging in the 8D failure investigation process, delivering the test DVP.
In addition to a passion for engineering, experience of delivery, and a desire to be 'hands-on' with projects from concept to completion, the candidates will:
- Have a degree in an associated mechanical engineering discipline, with a sound understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles (showing an attention to detail, and being data driven).
- Previous experience running engine validation tests (functional and endurance).
- Experience carrying out the 8D failure investigation process
- Previously worked on and delivered test DVPs
- Experience working with combustion engines
