We are pleased to have been retained by a listed, British, Fintech company to lead their search for a new Marketing hire. Our client is a leading provider of payment and loyalty solutions in the retail markets, operating across c6,000 retail sites, processing over 15 billion transactions each year, offering a range of products to its customers which help increase purchase size, loyalty and footfall.
With ambitious plans for growth, they are looking for a Head of Marketing to define their overall company brand strategy as well as product positioning and messaging. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a business intent on changing the face of the retail sector and the end customer experience.
You need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to manage agencies whilst still being a team player, willing to get involved in implementation.
Formulating marketing strategies across the Group, playing a key part in achieving growth and profitability plans
Working closely with the CCO, ensure the business is focused and clear on what is needed to deliver this strategy through liaison with the Group Exco and other colleagues
Developing an appropriate brand identity and persona- reviewing multiple brands and product offerings
Working with the sales team to define targets and messaging
Establish and work within an agreed budget
Review and manage supporting agencies across all marketing channels
A demonstrable track record in B2B strategic marketing and brand development
A hunger and excitement to work for a fast-growing business
Experience of working within a technology-based business, ideally financial services or retail
Experience across all media channels, particularly acquainted with the power of social media
A love of technology and the meaningful impact it can have on business and customer experience
Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
