A well renowned campaigning charity are looking to bring on board a programme lead for their international policy work.

You will be responsible for leading international development programmes, as well as managing the production and development of new research to provide an evidence base to the organisation's policy work.

Leading a driven and highly competent team, this is an exciting role, requiring a highly-experienced policy and programmes professional with demonstrable leadership qualities. The role is responsible for strategy development, programme delivery, stakeholder management and influencing at senior levels.

The role is based in their London office (when possible) and flexible working is available. International travel is required.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality engaging content to a variety of audiences in the form of policy briefings, research reports
  • Work across both internal and external communications functions to engage staff and increase the organisations reputation on a global scale
  • Work effectively as a member of a close-knit team and colleagues in other areas of the organisation

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A drive to lead positive change through evidence-based policy and developed advocacy skills
  • Substantial experience of having built relationships with political and professional decision makers - ideally internationally
  • Able to work under pressure and manage workloads and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Ability to research ideas thoroughly to create and develop evidenced policy narratives
  • Availability to travel internationally on a regular basis
