Our client is a global engineering and manufacturing organisation, well thought of and respected in their fields of expertise, and one that because of its global footprint has been able to grow despite the spectre of Brexit.
To achieve its strategic aims and committing to further investment in their UK capabilities, this organisation is expanding the engineering functions and the role of Mechanical Project Engineer is an important hire. You will be a key member of the team that will support all aspects of Mechanical Engineering, design and plant development.
Implementation for all capital
Plant development and recommendations
New capital installation
Implement conceptual project within in agreed budget and timescales
Follow and work within British Standards and associated codes of practice
Overseeing trainees and apprentices
Prepare and implement training programmes
Make recommendations for future training programmes.
An ability to react and adapt to the fast-changing needs of the business
Ability to communicate and correspond at a variety of levels and across a range of stakeholders
Knowledge of regulations
Work closely with the process engineers
Create mechanical design and drawings
Development equipment list
Previous experience within the process plant
Previous experience working with hazardous environment
