Test & Development Engineer

£40-£50 per hour

Overview

Murray McIntosh are currently searching for an Test & Development Engineer to work for a key client of ours as detailed below:

Overview of the role:

  • Testing and validating a range of generators & energy storage systems.
  • Liaising and coordinating with external stakeholders and agencies for certifications on noise, vibration and durability.
  • Recording and analysing relevant data
  • Owning the DVP the engineer will test systems through to engineering sign off.
  • Work with design team to quickly review, evaluate & resolve issues
  • Work within issue management system (ePCM) & 8D problem solving methodology.

Experience required:

  • Experience working with large complex systems (Mainly electrical but some mechanical).
  • Working knowledge of; electrical control systems, telemetry, CAN networks and protocols, PLC ladder logic & battery technologies
  • Create & maintain processes such as: DVPSOR, FFPSO & SOPs
  • Strong analytic skills working from first principals.
  • Writing of reports and documentation.

If you have knowledge of mechanical testing and development processes this would be an advantage for the role but is not a prerequisite.
