Corporate Social Responsibility

Here are some of the initiatives we take part in as part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility.

We plant trees for every candidate we place

As part of our ongoing efforts to achieve a Net Zero recruitment process, in November 2023 we launched a new initiative to Plant a Tree Per Placement. We have supported tree planting in the UK and in other part of the world.

As part of this initiative, we also declared a 'Net Zero Website'. Simply scroll to the bottom of our website and you’ll see a badge which automatically compensates for all the CO2 emissions our website generates!

Fundraising for charities

Last year, members of our team set themselves the ambitious goal of completing the Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours, all in support of two incredible causes: Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and The Mary Hare Foundation.

The challenge began at 6:25am on Saturday 28th June 2025, with the team tackling Ben Nevis first, followed by Scafell Pike and finally Snowdon. After a gruelling climb and descent of all three peaks, they crossed the finish line at 5:15am on Sunday, completing the challenge in an impressive 22 hours and 50 minutes. In preparation, the team spent the early part of 2025 training extensively, climbing Pen y Fan several times and taking on various other local trails and mountains to build endurance and resilience.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices delivers essential care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, along with their families, across south-west and north-west London and Surrey. Their expert support is available around the clock, every day of the year, from diagnosis through to end-of-life and bereavement. They currently assist around 600 families, plus a further 400 who are bereaved. It costs £12 million annually to run the service, relying heavily on charitable donations to keep going.

The Mary Hare Foundation raises vital funds for Mary Hare School, the UK’s leading residential school for deaf children. The Foundation enables the development of key facilities, including boarding accommodation, arts centres, and specialist learning resources, ensuring the school can continue to offer an outstanding educational environment beyond the limits of public funding.

Supporting Emerging Talent partnered with Future Water Association

With everything we have observed in the sector, and having documented the significant number of professionals leaving, it is evident that developing emerging talent is a critical challenge. While this issue cannot be addressed by any single organisation and requires the coordinated support of government, trade associations, and regulators, we are committed to contributing where we can. By sponsoring the Emerging Talent Group with Future Water Association, we aim to provide guidance, create meaningful opportunities, and support the development of young professionals, helping to ensure the water sector remains skilled, innovative, and sustainable for the future.
