About the Role
Working closely with Project Managers, the PMO Manager and a cross-functional planning team, you will develop and maintain customer-facing project programmes, support continuous improvement across the Projects function, and ensure project documentation remains accurate, controlled and up to date.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Controls

  • Develop, maintain and communicate project programmes to support successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure project information remains accurate and current.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and support the timely resolution of risks affecting delivery.
  • Produce project planning information, reports and programme updates to support decision-making.
  • Ensure project programmes clearly identify contractual dates, key milestones and delivery risks.
  • Maintain standardised and consistent programme formats and planning definitions.
  • Provide planning, project controls and PMO support as required.


PMO & Reporting

  • Maintain project, PMO and business documentation, ensuring records are accurate, controlled and accessible.
  • Support the PMO Manager with day-to-day PMO activities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes, standards and reporting.
  • Produce and maintain project, planning and PMO reports as required.
  • Provide accurate reporting on project performance, progress, risks and key metrics.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of reporting requirements and project governance.

About You


We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a project environment and supporting successful project delivery.



Essential Requirements

  • Experience developing and maintaining project programmes.
  • Experience using MS Project or similar planning software.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of NEC contract conditions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Desirable Requirements

  • Experience within a PMO, project controls or project planning environment.
  • Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform experience.
  • Experience working with business management or ERP systems.
  • Broader Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Candidates from a range of experience levels will be considered, with training and development available for the right individual.
